It was a very hot and tough night fishing. It was dark and we had NO CAMERA AGAIN!!! Let's see who can we blame it on.... Ahhhh...Hooker Jason our tournament director...even though he didn't do anything wrong he's the tournament director after all!!

13.41 LBS Pounds and both 1st   & 2nd Big Fish 4.06/3.62 lbs.

HOW'D YA DO IT, WHAT'D YA USE?

Used a 6" soft plastic swim bait to catch small keeper & quality spot.  At noon, threw the shakey head for about 30 minutes and caught 2 good keepers on back to back cast.  Switched back to swim bait & fluke for the rest of the time.  

Caught 2 more quality fish on the fluke and was able to cull small keeper.  I was fishing humps & long points but they had to have rock

This was our first overnight trip of the season and we had a GREAT TIME!!! The food was great with the "Spencer Spiced ribs and Jason's taters.

All you guys that couldn't make it well, you missed out on a great weekend.

"I was cranking main lake points to catch limit (caught 5 keepers and 1 shorty).  Switched to worm for upgrade.  Caught one upgrade, lost another upgrade.  Total of 8 bites all day long.  Nothing spectacular but was confident in my crank bait bite if I stuck with it all day".

Nate brought home two spots for the day thus skunking his older brother...

Ron said he caught all 9' 08" using green pumpkin seed worms on "Spot Removers" all of the fish were shallow and I think he said around docks. 

Well, so much for the deep suspended winter bass theory.
